When you'd use it
A Tesla using a non-Tesla DC network such as Electrify America or EVgo.
Before you rely on it: Tesla sells an official 'CCS Combo 1 Adapter'. Some early Tesla vehicles needed a retrofit to be compatible — check your VIN.
